I have 16 inch Wild 1's. I ride without a windshield most of the time however use one for trips. Here's a pic with it on.

I use my detachable windshield quite often. I couldn't care less what a bunch of latent (or maybe not so) homosexual fashion consultants say I should be doing.

Just get a roll bag for the bars instead of a windshield if you run apes.

No, wait, make that a Night Train. Then I'd have bought apes, saddlebags, a windshield, and wished I'd bought a Road Glide.

i had an 89 heritage.with 18 " buffalo bars from drag.they were wide enough on the bottoms you couldnt adjust he stock windsheild.it only mounted onthe low setting.windsheild came to the top of the bars.usally only ran it memorial weekend.rode 500 miles home from deadwood in rain.when we left it was 36.it works good in the rain or if it was cold.rode around 300 miles home.a differant year when we left it was 34 and flirries.41 by the time we got home.now thats hard core.
