2000 Ultra Classic check engine light

While ridding on the highway 60mph, my check engine light came on, speedometer went from 60 to 0, odomoter started flashing, then speedometer went back to 60 and check engine light went off, this happend 2 more times before I got to my Mechanic. he put a scanalizer on it and no codes came up??? Help

My 03 Ultra started this and finally completely stopped working. After several days of troubleshooting we found two wires that had stressed and broken in the harness by the triple tree. The insulation had not broken and made it really hard to find. It also caused the speedo itself to go bad over a week or so of getting spurious voltages. Not saying that is what is happening to yours but that is what happend to me just this month.
