Cleaner application
I know i just saw a thread on this a bit ago but I want to try the Pledge/Lemon pledge to clean my bike due to all of the fellow riders saying how good it works but I never saw the question answered Do you spray it directly on the bike or onto a rag 1st then wipe the bike down?
Thanks to all!
Thanks to all!
spray it very lightly on your cloth. then wipe down the bike. for me though i use the meguiars or mothers instand detailer stuff. worried about getting the oils from pledge into the surface of the paint. so i stick with what works for me. the stuff is not expensive, any sort of spray mist detailer, about three or four bux at any auto parts store, or even walmart etc. spray on, wipe off, will even remove bugs etc, if you allow it to sit for a minute or so. hope this helps. at least the spray detailer is made for polishing painted surfaces, also it'll do the windshield and chrome.
I've taken The Pledge recently. I'm spraying it directly on for the larger surfaces like the front of the fairing and sides of the saddlebags. Not sure if that's a good or bad idea but then again I'm working on a 25 year old paint job that I don't care all that much about anymore. I haven't read anyone here or on other sites give a good reason yet why direct spraying is a bad idea when you can control the target
