Default break in

Just read the moto man break in method ...has any one done it this way and if so what are your thoughts ...just picking up 06 sporty tomorrow.....thanks

I have to say that was helpful.

Of the Harleys I've owned I only had one new one that I was concerned about break-in. It was an 01 Heritage Classic, fuely. I followed the MOCO directions as close as I could. I never had a problem with the bike.

I don't know if other methods are as good or better but somehow I figure the manufacturer is smarter about these things than I am and I could sure see no reason not to follow their recommendations.
