Thank you all for all the great info on the Magic Erasers. I guess I have been under a rock or something!

Yes I used it on the entire bike; no force necessary.. you just wet the sponge, wring out excess water, & wipe... you aren't scrubbing it...

I used the plain one, but there is also one with a scrubby built in...

Not to hijack this thread but another cleaning product that works great is the swiffer dusters. I have used california car dusters for years but these swiffer things are the best for bikes.
I use swifters too... Good for a light dusting and barely have to touch the bike. Change the duster each use (so not to scratch the paint with old dirt). Been using them on all my bikes for a while now.

Haven't got to use the mr.cleaner magic erasers I bought yet..but will be bathing the baby this weekend so I'll find out.
Not sure I would use it on the paint.

What about on chrome? Mainly my exhaust pipes. They keep getting crap burned on them and it is a royal pain scrubbing it off.
I've used them to get burnt boot and other marks off of my exhaust and they work great!

Another thing that works good to take burn marks etc off the exhaust is a penny. Copper won't scratch chrome!
