Don't worry about the fuel pump that only has one hose pumping a gallon of regular in ahead of your premium. Can't happen. Old wives' (ok-old biker's wives') tale. Been thoroughly debunked here several times.

Sunday, I rode with a Bro heading back home from a visit...we knoew rain wouldplay, but...? I got caught BIG TIME! ON my 05 Ultra, I was at 30, 40 mph, 3rd, 4th gear and stopped numerous time idling in traffic.
The light came on about 80 miles from home...I had no choice in rain and no stations but to press on.
Pulled in that garage with light on, needle on "E" and 255 miles on the odometer! Go figure! That dresser had to be getting 55 mpg in 3rd and 4th....I may not even make it the half mile to the station when I refuel today!

Expect that needle to drop pretty quickly now.
My gage does that. Starts dropping like a stone after 120 (whichs reads around half a tank on the plus side.)
