I used to use Sta-bil brand fuel stabilizer when storing my bikes. But, I noticed that for the first one or two tanks of gas mileage suffered resulting in 20-30 miles less in range on a tank full. I have swiched to Seafoam brand and have noticed no drop in MPG's. Has anyone else experienced this?
Yes, mpg sucks first tank. Before first ride in the spring, I syphon 4 gallons out into the can for the lawn mower, then go fill it with fresher gas. I use sta-bil
Same here, mpg is less for that tank, but I have switched to marine Stabil (blue), it is labeled for use with ethanol treated fuels, and have had good results, ie no carb gumming or corrosion in bike, boat or power equipment fuel systems.

I've noticed that too, that and the bike runs a little rough. Seafoam doesn't do that.
seafoam is a greater cleaner tool. used to clean your carbon build up, injectors, can clean up the crankcase as well as other items. It's not used in the same manner stabil is which is to stabilize the fuel during longer term storage. Seafoam would help in this regard, but not nearly as much.

+1 on the marine grade stabil for your storage / non ride time over the winter.
It does the trick to make ethanol fuel not separate.
Used it last year in the Roadking, good to go.
Use it in my gas for law mower year round and from that can to mix 2 cycle oil for my Stihl products.
