Default I am surprised

I'm setting my '07 Road King Classic up for solo riding. I've got a new Sundowner solo seat and quick release chrome rack that goes where the passenger seat was. What I am surprised about is, since there are lots of HD's solo riders out there, why isn't there blings (chrome accessories) to replace the passenger pegs or floorboards? At least so far I haven't found any from Harley or Kuryakyn. I guess everyone that rides solo just leaves the floorboards on?

Absolutely sure. I'm 63 today and my wife died August 1987. She was the first and the last as far as relationships go. I miss her so much I can hardly stand it. I figure there are enough of you guys that's willing to give someone a ride. That way I can have a lighter load, get better fuel mileage and ride a reasonable distance without so many pit stops. LOL

I took the pegs off. I have no current plans to 2-up but they are easy to reinstall if that changes. I removed mine because the right folds up over the exhaust and I didn't like the look.

I know some guys use Hex bolt head covers ..they take out the pegs . screw in a bolt and put the covers over the bolt head.

That's what I did on mama's Sporty when I pulled the passenger pegs.

Install chrome covers on the outside of the passenger floorboards. Very attractive option instead of removing them.

sorry for your loss. wasn't thinking so much about a regular rider, but the occasional request from friends, children, etc when you pull up somewhere. I'm often asked for rides, especially from children and it's nice to see the smiles on their faces afterwards and know that you made someone's day. heck, who knows. you might even be creating a future biker. I don't know if you encounter that sort of thing but I do every now and then and it really does the heart good. good luck.

Already did that before deciding to solo it.

You could remove the passenger pegs and install the small black plastic plugs that H-D sells. That's what I have done after removing something. They blend in really well.
