2. Martindale - Hubble is a good way to locate one. http://www.martindale.com/ They have an extensive database, and peer reviews of attorneys in may fields.
One thing I didn't read in this thread - do not give anyone a recorded statement regarding this collision until you have retained and been advised by counsel. Not your insurance company and certainly not theirs.
Note than some insurance contracts require you to make a recorded statement to your insurer within a certain timeframe.
Keeping a diary is a very good idea - that contemporaneous record of events can be very useful later on.
Best of luck to you and Lisa.

I have no idea if they are any good, but there is a motorcycle accident specialist called SteelHorse law. steelhorselaw.com
Also check into ABATE.
I seem to recall someone telling me that they have a legal defense team for members..
Passing along the info.. not necessarily a recommendation..

No idea how good he is or anything, but remember having seen an article or two on him in some of the bike rags...
If you need any explanation with regards to things going on with Lisa, feel free to hit me up. I am a Critical Care RN and can help you understand some of the things the MDs or RNs are telling you. Sometimes it is not quite explained in lay terms and there is much going on with neuro/trauma pts.
Best of luck, and hang in there, both you and Lisa!

GMAC called today and said that they are liable for lisas bills, as the primary ins . So that must mean that Enterprises ins is secondary. THey just called about 2 pm and they had an adjustor looking at my bike by 4 back home.
Got some good leads from my dad and a preacher/Dr at the Seminary, who is also a lawyer in KY. Making some calls tomorrow. Thanks for the unanimous response.
