I popped the windshield off the Heritage this weekend and it was great. Lots of wind noise, but fun once I got the ear plugs in. One thing I noticed and could not figure out were water drops misting on me...
Strange, but when I was behind a vehicle I felt a random and occasional light misting of water on my skin. Just what I would expect if the vehicle ahead of me had just pulled out of a car wash. Let me get the "no, it wasn't that" list out of the way... It wasn't: Rain, wet road spray, windshield washer fluid, anything thrown out of the lead car, car wasn't wet, chewing tobacco, birds, fuel leak, etc... Some were mixed in with the occasional sand dings you feel when running on rural roads.
Both days were clear and sunny with mid 80s for a temp and humidity around 40-50%. It happened to me behind 10-12 different cars and they needed to be running at 40 mph plus.
I normally run with the windshield, so this is new to me. I guess I'm going crazy!!
Thats condensation from the cars air conditioning system, thumping you in the noggen.
Noooo your both wronggggggg....I have had this happen to me on clear days ,it turned out the person had just had Bladder surgery and they were just emptying thier bag thur a little hole made in the flood pan of thier cage.[sm=devilangel.gif][sm=joke.gif]
On the way home while stopped at a light I saw the car next to me dribbling condensation from the air conditioning system... It was like the light bulb turning on. This has to be it...
