Yeah, putting it in the wrong hole is a common problem..

Hi all. Yes, it was an operator error, as much as I hate to admit it. I didn't realize the usb port on the power commander was hidden under the rubber plug. sorry about all the fuss. I appreciate everyone's help, wasn't being sarcastic in some of my posts, just frustrated. it was the weekend and I had a long list of things I wanted to get done, included get some riding in.
anyway, thanx again, and I've learned for the next time.

and by the way, didn't completely eliminate backfire issue so jamie is getting a call monday morning.

I think it was the operator...not the equipment. Little end of the usb plugs into the power commander and larger side o the computer. Live and learn. that is why we are here.
