I change all of mine every 5000 miles, easier to keep up with that way, cause I don't have to try and remember did I do that last time?

I like to change at least at the recommended intervals, usually 10% before..
Actually, I think that was a Fram oil filter commercial.

Just change the oils. It's just 2 drain-plugs and then ya fill 'em back up.

two? which one aren't you changing?

oils...I said oils. plural...primary and transmission.

Uhhhhh....NO! She does not like it dirty. Having said that, you might want to consider: Mobil-1 Extended Life (for 15000 mile drain intervals). It's a synthetic made by Mobil-1, but I'm not sure if it's formulated for V-twins. I'd recommend calling Mobil-1 to ask if it can be used in your bike. As for me, I change all fluids every 5K regardless of whether it needs it or not.

The OP was talking about changing the tranny and primary. I do change my engine oil more then the other 2 and at different times.
Why ya's wanna bust my chops?
