Okay, here is the deal. I got myself a nice 1973 blue metal flake helmet off ebay. It is a little bit too big and I want to put a little bit of extra padding in it so make it more secure. I don't need to hear the buy a helemt that fits you, but thanks if that is what you are thinking. that is what I would be thinking too.
My wife is big into costuming and suggested several products. Here are the links.
Has anyone sued anything like this or can you suggest something else similar for me to use? the padding in the helmet is flawless, it is that I have a pinhead.
Also, if you might be interested in a 1973 3/4 blue metal flake in great shape let me know via PM. I might just sell it and get a repro from fulmer. This helmet is not a fulmer, I think it is an LSR. I have to get a magnifying glass and read the label.
I wouldn't wear it, for safety reasons. Not because modern helmets are so much better (though they are) but because as something that old ages, it begins to break down, even if left on a shelf.
Those sticky helmet liners would prolly work. So would buying a whole new helmet liner.
Have you considered panty liners? They come in a box of 20, are available at all hours at your local 7-11, and will you keep refreshed all times of the month.

Well, I just decided I am going to get a new fulmer V2 that fits properly. Impulse internet buys claim another victim. D'oh!
Although the panty liners do sound like a great idea. Cheap too!
I just bit the bullet and ordered a Fulmer v2 in gold, the color I originally wnated in my size. I got since I found a place I could get it online, although new fulmers are not supposed to be sold online.

Hey dude, could I ask where you managed to buy it? I live in Ireland, and nobody here sells Fulmer helmets...and as you say, all the dealers in the States say no to internet sales....
