So I am sitting here waiting on the dealership to call me to come pick up my bike, and thinking about my experience when I took it there the other day. While waiting on the service guy, I went into the showroom to have a look around, and must say that most of it was the same ol' stuff. Then, as I got to the other side of the showroom, this blacked out bike caught my eye! That damn thing is SWEET! It already sits low, and can be lowered 2 more inches from what the sales guy told me. That wide rear end it wicked, and there is very little to polish on it unlike my Heritage. I was picturing it with some apes, solo seat, maybe a set of chrome pipes. I stood there and stared at it all of 15 seconds before the sales person approached me lol! I am not interested in buying another bike, but if I was then I would be seriously enticed to get that one! Man if only I were a rich dude!
I took one for a test ride - I didn't like it. I'm used to the Wide Glide, and it's a totally different feel. It does look sharp and I'm sure FatBoy people will love it.
You don't have to be rich, just willing to trade in or sell your current ride to get the Fat Boy Low, and willing to make payments. Believe me, the dealer will make it easier than you can believe.
I do agree that the bars would be the first thing to go. They felt like my Kawasaki Z-1 bars when sitting on it. I personally think that a set of 16"apes would set that bad boy off!

I like it, haven't seen it in person but it looks good in the pictures. Other than the two-tone exhaust.
I agree.
It definately should have black mufflers, black lower forks, and black headlight bucket. THEN it would be blacked out. Right now it kind looks like a blind dude put it together.
I liked it too, was not a fan of the gloss black nacelle though, kinda through the front end off...the satin chrome finish was nice, reminded me of the Exile scotch brite finish...
