Question Case boring question

I Have my bike apart right now and am going to be splitting the case . I think I know the answer to this but Ill ask anyway. Can i have the cases bored now,and still use my 3 7/8 cylinders? I think that the case helps support the cylinder but im unsure. It would be nice to do the cases now.I dont want to have to take this apart again later. I have good cylinders and pistons for 3 7/8 . but later id like to go bigger. Does harleys 4" cylinders and the aftermarkt 4.125 cylinder require the case to be bored the same amount?

You cannot bore the case and use the stock cylinders.
I do not know if the bore is the same for various sized cylinders, but I am guessing not.

This is correct, and also doubt very much about the larger set having the same spigot or sleeve size. There are plenty on this site that will have the correct answer for you.
