Have I lost my mind?

I am thinking of trading my 2004 Electraglide for a 1941 WLA 45. Have I lost my mind? What do you guys think? The WLA has been completely rebuilt and it would be an even swap. (Sorry about the size of the pic, but I have no way to down size it.)

Whew - I lost my mind years ago but I could never make a trade like that - Hell of a second bike but unless you are good enough to do all the work on it I wouldn't even consider it - What would it sell for?

Well, I am a mechanic and do all of my own work and I have been around these bikes in the past and Iam aware of what it takes to ride and maintain them. The guy wants 15,000.00 for it, which seems to be in line with what these things are going for these days. My wife already wont talk to me about this......she is certain I have lost all of my sense!

Yes, yes you have. Just sold 1942 wlc, and picked up 06 electriglide.

I think you would find that it would be a cool novelty at first, but you would start missing the low maintence, technology evolved bike you traded to get an older high maintence bike, that is more a novelty than an actual rideable motorcycle. I would stick with what you have. Just my opinion, good luck.
