Don't remember where I read this or where I got it from, but it gets em off easy. [sm=smiley20.gif] I only use this on my windshield.
Take a towel and put it in a bucket and fill the bucket with HOT, SCALDING HOT, water.
Detach windshield and lay flat or leave on bike.
Lay scalding hot towel on windshield and pour remaining hot water from bucket onto towel. Try to lay towel flat and pat out air pockets. Usually pouring the water on takes care of this.
Wait a few minutes and rub the towel over the windshield and dry with soft cloth.
Go smash somemore bugs and repeat as necessary.[sm=bounceybounce.gif]
Even cheaper and easier...wet the towel with cold water and lay it over the shield without taking it off the bike. Let it sit for the time it would take to heat up the water...Wipe off all traces of the congealed bug carcasses.
Then you can put the pledge on.
