My wife and I will be visiting Milwaukee next week. Of course, I carved out a day to spend at the Museum. I have this fantasy that there would be a massive HD factory store there, with all the parts and accessories you ever wanted right there, with no "we'll get it ordered for you....you were thinking to have this for next season, right?".
But I can't find anything on line to support this fantasy of mine. Where would a guy go to buy toys for his Harley in Milwaukee?
The Museum is cool and all but don't expect golden rays of sun light to pour down on you as you approach the front doors. However, there are tons of t-shirts available should you have the desire. By the way, bring a camera, lots of interesting bikes and stories to be found. Look for this one just inside the front door (upstairs level).....most of all enjoy!

Can't help you... but I can wish you a safe and enjoyable ride!
If you get there this weekend, there is a big H-D rally all over town. Hal's on Moorland, House of Harley, and Suburban will all have vendors and bands etc. set up.
What a great trip! The Museum was amazing - you'd need multiple visits just to give everything it's due. Picked up some stuff at the Store (who knew there was HD Monopoly??) and visited a couple dealerships in the area - got a sweet deal on some forwards for the Nightster at Capitol City HD in Madison, as well as a new leather jacket that I really didn't need, but wanted.
Anyone thinking about making the trip to Milwaukee, DO IT. You'll be prouder to be a HD rider and learn tons while you're at it. A mindblowing experience. I'm sure if they sold bikes at the Museum they'd sell 100 a day.
Enjoy the Museum, we spent the best part of a day there, we broke the day with lunch at the HD restaurant (good food and interesting beers). Unfortunately the HD Museum is not a HD Supercenter, I even found the gift shop to be lacking (so did the wife).
