I'm also interested in how easy the gear is to get on and off, especially the HD overpass suite. I currently have a first gear rain suit and it keeps me dry but I had better have it on before it starts raining because by the time I do get it on when it starts raining, I'm already wet!

Searching the forums on this subject it seems the general consensis is either the HD Overpass suit or the Nelson riggs suit.

Thumbs up

Left Vegas Fri am with just my yellow rain jacket zippered with draw string at waist and on hood. Hit Albaqurqe got wet waist down Sat when I rolled into Amarillo stopped at HD and picked up their pants only. Rode thru the rain from there all the way to Houston . Only my left boot leaked on my foot and there was a lot of rain, thats what I got and what I wear easy on and off, packs well.

Thanks Russ

How do the sizes run with the HD Overpass suit? If I wear a large jacket do I need an XL in the Overpass or will the large work?

Thanks
Bill

Both my wife and I have these as well. They are extremely high quality and watertight, even in severe rain. They are pricey, but worth it.

+1 on the 2-piece Tourmaster Defender. Great value for the money. Paid 60 bucks for it.
