I have developed debilitating left hip problems over the past year that make mounting, kickstand funtions, and dismounting on my bike , the end of my riding............unless There is a way to re-locate the kickstand to the right side of the bike, an re-train myself to use my right hip an stand. Is it possible to do?, where would I find a right stand. Any ideas welcome! Ican't stop riding. Thanks in advance for Info.... L Ray
Went to see a physical therapist and he gave me a TON of workouts to do. Took around three months, but I strengthened my legs to the point where the pain is no longer there.
Not sure how old you are(I'm 29), but if you can still hit the gym, you may want to try some leg/hip strengthening excercises.
Well I don't know where you could get a right side kickstand but you could always look into trikes. That's what I plan on doing when I can't ride my bike now.
