CB Help Needed
OK, here is the problem.
1) 2006 Streetglide
2) Had Harley CB installed
3) brought Harley headset for full face helmet
4) brought Harley headset for shorty helmet
5) speaker switch in headset position
6) when pushing PTT cannot hear my voice in either headset
Question is should I be able to hear my transmissions via the headset(s)?
7) brought plugup.com 3.5 splitter so I can use 3.5 ear buds for better audio
8) when the splitter is in-line I can hear my voice in the ear buds when transmitting.
Obviously (maybe) there is a pin used in the splitter that is not used in the Harley cord?
Any thoughts out there before I cut the ear phones off from the headsets, leaving just the mic, and just use the splitter/ear buds?
