the front and back rim are the same size? i dont mean diameter, i mean width.
i was supposed to order my wheels on friday, but ive been emailing and talking to the guy about this and cant make up my mind. my back is going to be 16x3.5 for sure, but im not sure if i want a 21x3.5 front or if i should go with a 21x3 or a 21x3.25 front. what do you guys think as far as the handling of the bike with this combo, and what do you think about the looks of a fat front wheel with a skinny rear? not a whole lot of pics with this combo floating around here. 150/80 and a 120/70
Not sure what bike your talking about but I say go wide up front.
I love my 200mm rear tire and if I every swap out the front, I'm going as wide as I can.
It really depends on what look your going for.
To me, chrome spoke wheels are a step towards that 70's chopper look (narrow front tire).
A wide tire on a painted spoke wheel is more bobberish.
IMO A wide tire won't look right under the narrow fender.

i forgot to mention the fender is coming off. eventually i have a new fender picked out, but for now im going to go fenderless. its cool though, because in arizona it barely rains!
