Well, I got a letter saying that my insurance company (State Farm) is dropping me (long story). So now I have to find new insurance for the Harley, it is being dropped first because it is the first to be renewed, then they will drop they Tahoe and the Dodge. So which insurance company do you have, what do you like or dislike about them?
Progressive
Likes: Low price ($150 a year), didn't raise the rates after my accident or speeding ticket, cooperative adjuster and cooperative representative, detailed information as to what's covered, including uninsured, vadalism, and robbery.
Dislikes: Bodily injury is covered for an extra fee (driver and passenger only, you should have separate health coverage through work), fair price after hagling about my totaled bike.
Progressive Insurance for my bikes!!! I have an 06 Softail Deluxe, and an 06 Heritage and it runs me $400 for the year ~full coverage~!
As far as my personal vehicles go, 04 Tahoe Z71 and 03 GMC Yukon full coverage $500 for 6mths...that's through Allstate with my home.
Good Luck!

In case you guys didn't know.Progressive insurance is a huge contributor to the ACLU[:@]Which is why, even if I did save a few bucks with them.I wouldn't give them a nickel. You know the ACLU,,,,,,the same folks who defend the right to protest our soldiers funerals. If I'm not mistaken, their pretty anti-biker as well.I will use any insurance other than Progressive....thank you[:@]
They are anti-bikers? Why are they vendors at so many rallies...google motorcycle insurance and they are plastered everywhere... if they hated us, why haven't they increased my insurance...it's only gone down...?? As far as the ACLU, never heard of them??sorry...
who do you use ?
I have GEICO on my Bike and both my Jeep and WIfes Van.
Very reasonable rates compared to the others out there, was 60% cheaper than the Insurance HD tried to offer me...
Progressive also uses your credit score to rate your insurance. This has become common practice among many of the major players in the insurance industry. If any of you have aquired a few financial black marks from divorce, loss of job, hospital bills, etc., you may find yourself taking a 'hit' on your insurance as well. Watch out when they ask for your social security#, they are probably pulling your credit report. Several states are now investigating this for 'lack of disclosure'.

Geico for me. Been with them for 15 years and haven't had a problem with them. Every time I shop around they have the best price. If you're Military, ex military, or related to someone that is a member, USAA has pretty good prices as well. They were about the same as Geico last time I checked.
