I'm still waiting for an intelligent response. I still contend that my V-Rod will make a larger motored M109 look silly.

Care to PROVE me wrong?

I doubt it.

"Performs better than any other production EPA legal V-Twin"
and
"The first big V-Twin to make over 100hp stock"
and
"A new high in V-Twin cruiser performance"

YET, looking over the November 2001 stock V-Rod performance, one sees:

MEASURED TOP SPEED
V-Rod: 137mph
M109: 128mph

0 - 1/4 MILE
V-Rod: 11.38sec
M109: 11.62sec

0-60MPH
V-Rod: 3.52sec
M109: 3.65sec

0-100MPH
V-Rod: 8.22sec
M109: 8.87sec

POWER TO WEIGHT
V-Rod: 1:5.99
M109: 1:7.26

BRAKING 60-0 MPH (FEET)
V-Rod: 109.5
M109: 135.4

IN EVERY ONE OF YOUR MEASURES THE V-ROD OUTPERFORMS

Well, judging by Motorcycle Consumer News, you are correct, Eazy. The VRod outperforms the M109.

Dude just so you know, on other HD forums, they call those "bent rods" and are generally laughed at on both the Harley forums and the import forums as well. Too bad they are so unliked, I wonder why this is?

If I get an M, I will most happily take you out and make you look bad. I have ran with the Vrod guys in Minneapolis, while on my Busa, and actually had one want to run me. It was a spanking, and I was being nice.

One guy wanted to do roll-ons to see how the Vrod compared in torque and much to my surprise I rolled him in each gear.

How can this be, his is close to 1300, mine is a 1300, and yet so much power difference? How can they not beat a Vmax? Costing almost twice the price of a Vmax?? I don't understand....

Thats funny, I read all these same numbers in reverse when looking in cycle world news. How strange?? And only 128 top speed? I beg to differ as the one I rode yesterday, indicated 145 and I didn't open it up for full speed yet. Hmmm you think the speedo is off that much?? It only had 120 miles on it, so I didn't want to hurt the engine, but it did 145 on speedo without any trouble. Believe it or not.

And it stated from a Softail owner, not a V-Rod owner that may look as though he/she is blowing smoke.

Thanks cjmilez
