Though I don't have anything against the '08 models, I wouldn't even consider buying one now after the changes to the frame and the other changes in '09. Maybe that's why the dealer can't unload them.

DO a road test on the Electra Glide.It is the **** for touring bar none.You catch a lot of air on a RK.

EG vs RK

I am buying a 2010 Electra Glide Classic and I own a 2006 EGS. Love the EGS but needed to upgrade. Most people advise that once you have a fairing you do not want anything else.

Buy the bike that stirs your soul. A bike is like a lady. It will always want fancy clothes, new shoes and tons of attention. You will spend lot's of cash making her happy even if you do all the maintenance. It is a labor of love. Know what you want and wait for the one that you know will make you happy from now on and you can't go wrong.
