New to H-D; just starting to get educated so I don't mess up first purchase.
I have been given advice to stay away from a private sale and perhaps buy from a HD dealer....I don't believe they are a HD dealer.....
Has anyone any experience with these guys?
Oh, I should have mentioned first bike....thinking of a Softail Heritage ATM, but maybe a Dyna...need to ride on a few more (maybe more than a few) :-)

Private sale, do you mean directly from a bike owner? If you take someone with you who knows bikes you can save a lot of money (as opposed to buying a used bike from a dealer HD or not).
As far as "Softail", they are cool if they fit your style and taste. My last 6 or 7 bikes were all softails and I love them. There are those that prefer other models and only u can decide what suits you the best.
IF you buy new, you eliminate the risk of buying from someone who beat their bike, but a low miles used bike can save you money.
No exp with these guys either but buying from a private owner will always save money initially. anything you buy should be checked out and ride it first.
that place is not too far from me. they seem all right. their bikes are priced right. when i was in checking them out they did nt pressure me at all and were up front with me. they do most of their sales on the internet. they have a pretty big place and its packed with bikes. not too far from concord (heritage) hd. if your in the neighborhood.
