Any suggestions on a good two way radio ?

 

Stop.... step away from the keyboard..... you do NOT want more voices in your head than you have now.....

Trust me on this!

 

Do a search for intercom or radio and you will have more than enough information to sift through. I don't ride with others but the Mrs. and I use the turn your head and talk system. The price was right!

 

That's the same system the wife and I use. Works great and we have a lot of fun.

 

My wife and I have the Cardo Scala Wireless Teamset system. I can't figure out how to mute my mic...... lol...

 

The TinCans&String System by CheapCrap Inc. really suck. The string keeps getting tangled in the spokes.

I like their CardInTheSpokes Exhaust upgrade though. Bike sounds pretty gnarly now.

Three shots fired into the air always works too.

 

Unfortunately, there's no mute option with my setup either. Plus, the volume control can suck at times.

 

Trust me, riding is more enjoyable when you can't hear her (or can pretent that you can't).

 

Exactly... I really had her hot at me on our last trip..... I said what I normally say when she is trying to navigate to a gas pump.... and now she was able to hear me..... NOT GOOD....

 

I got a sysgtem called BlueAnt. Two units are required to use as intercom, but they also use Bluetooth to connect a cell phone to.... NOW I have figured out that it's nicer when they are turned OFF!!!

But for arguements sake, the sound quality is very good... Even cell conversations at speeds up to 35-40mph sound good without any extra wind protection for the mic....
