did some calling around .... might have some possibilities out there!!! Always helps if you just happened to get the shop owner on the phone when you called!!! Someone has a fire red pearl flht they want to get off the floor. Not sure i like the color tho. Will have to give him a call back tomorrow and see whats up.

It all depends on how many bikes they have. As I have seen in most of the dealers around where I live Softails are non-existant a few Dyna's and touring and heck of lot of sportsters. I bet a Sportster could be had for a deal.

THey will deal, if they know there's $$$ on the table. I got my 2005 RG for several hundred BELOW MSRP last June. Now it's even later in the model year. They can and will do it. If they act like they want more, bue prepared to get up and walk.

The get up and walk thing is real important, i forgot that one earlier.
If they won't budge and your still sitting there than they know your wanting it bad and may be willing to pay their price, they're waiting your move. Once you are walking out the door it's their move. Be sure to give them your number before your out the door so they can call you with the new offer.

Hope it works for you.
Went to many dealers looking for my Low Rider.
It came down to 2 dealers: one was 50 miles from my home, and the other 6 miles from my home.
The closer dealer wouldn't drop the price by $600 to get the sale.

the wost they can say is no.... and then take your money elsewhere.
buying an 06 is fine. you will not lose any money on it- even if the 07's are due to hit the floor soon.
knowing how my local dealers work- its MSRP or no deal... fuggers.
