In D.C.? Whaaaaaahahahaha! It's goanna be gone, baby! No way in H*ll would I keep a bike, not even a cheap one, on the street. I don't care how nice you think your neighborhood is, the bad ones aren't far awy. And yeah, I'm from Baltimore and have been to D.C. to visit friends many times - WITH MY CAR. My HD doesn't go there. My Honda doesn't even go there. Nope. Check your insurance premiums. Yep. You'll be payin'

Well it is most likely that I will move to VA because anyway there is just a few insurance companies willing to insure a Harley in DC and they charge SO MUCH!
Renting a space is a little dumb because I don't have a car My Harley will be my only vehicle...

Look, man. I'm not tryin' to shoot ya down. Just the reality of the situation is, it's not a good idea. Now you go into VA, and that might be a different story altogether. I'm not too familliar with the D.C. suburbs in VA, so I can't comment. But IN D.C. forgetaboutit.

I know you are right This is why I'm asking you guys ahead of time...I always planned to move to VA when I will get my Harley for many reasons, one of which would be the survival of my precious in the city when it's dark outside. I'll commute on my bike tho ))))))
Hey, more power to ya. Just make sure you get that baby in a secured place, and it will go a long way to give you peace of mind, and hopefully your bike will be there every morning! All big cities are tough, man.
After leaving my bike outside for just a few nights it got vandalized. Never again will it stay outside. I live in a town of around 7000 with very little crime. And your in D.C.??? Good luck with that. Hope you got very good insurance.
