Just one question. How long did it take to suck the seat out of your azz?

When I first started reading I thought you were dodging rubber from a tire. That'll wake you up.

Glad you're ok, and didn't panic, could have been ugly! Buy yourself a brewski on me (I'll have to owe you) and relax for a few after work while pondering your particular combination of skill and luck (Especially lucky the semi didn't have to lock up his brakes in front of you while you were on the green lake)

Congrats on the escape. I generally try not to ride close to big rigs because of tire blowouts or their inability to notice me. If passing on a 4 lane road, I move to the left of the lane. Here in SC, some of the truckers are pulp wood trucks and trust me, the word maintenance is not very good on some of their units, not to mention the bits of tree that fall off going down the road. And since they are agriculture haulers, they get a break on regulations.

Most truckers are very good drivers but like anyhting else, there are a few that make you shake your head.

Ride Safe

Bubba

What a way to start the day!
Had a 5 foot long, 2-3 inches thick branch falling down a truck and flying my way while I was on an open roadster. I know the feeling.
Luckily I kept some distance just in case and managed to get out of the way. Creeps...
