I got caught in the the stinking rain yesterday. It got so bad I couldn't even get her home. Sadly I left her out in one of heaviest downpours I've seen all season.[X(] After work today I went down, crossed my fingers and fired her up without a problem. I whipped around the city for a bit to see if all was well. Unfortunately my girl felt a bit sluggish as ran her through the gears. I guess what I'm getting at is, Is this all in my head or am I being punished for leaving her out in the rain?[sm=boink3.gif]
I rode 450 miles in the rain last Saturday. The rain will not have any effect on you bike other than to make it filthy. They were made to be used in all conditions, just like a car, just not as comfortable.
One thing to consider if its still acting sluggish is, if you have an open element air filter.
Water will not be an issue as far as getting in the motor, but it can be a restriction in the filter making it hard for your bike to breath.
Of course this should dry out pretty fast, especially when the motor is running.
You left your bike!??!!??....you are so hosed now...she'll never forgive you..
Bad Omen..Bad Omen.

Maybe not 'never' but she is pissed off, and is going to let you know that until she becomes "unpissed". (Which will happen to coinside with the time that everything drys out)
Bike before this one had a real problem after I washed it, but when everything was dry, it ran like a stripped-assed ape.
