Hello all,
I just purchaced a new ride.
1998 fatboy is what they called it.... Not the case
has a 1992 engine on an old shovel frame and some other miss match parts, here is the problem im looking to put this all on a harley frame but am having trouble finding one, any one know where too look for one with a clean title?
I like it as is.
It'll def spark some conversations, and as long as it came with a clean title (which I would make sure the frame, title and that are all in sync), I'd ride the wheels off of it.
Defiently a fine looking ride like it is. And a swing arm will ride much better than the softail. If you think you must change the frame. I think the best way to do it would be buy a good aftermarket frame and get a certificate of origin. If it was I it would be kept like it is. To each their own.
Why in the world would you go to that much expence of money and labor just to put it on a stock frame (and look almost exactly the same). Do you not have a title for it presently?
This ain't a stolen bike I hope. (Looking for stock frame with clear title,....).
If it came with a clear / clean title, just ride it, or sell it and get a FatBoy if that is now what you want. It'll be WAY cheaper than friggin around swapping everything over onto a used H-D frame (which aren't cheap BTW).

I'm not to good at guessing what models they are, but I also think it's an FLH frame based on nothing more than the shock location. It's nice looking whatever it is. One of the purists will get it nailed down pretty quick.
