Default Are Buels worthless now????

i have a frind asking me to put his 07 firebolt on craigs list (he has no internet)....he wants $6500......my question is this, I have heard that Buel is done/out of buisness.....does that mean that repair parts will not be available in the near future....did my buddies bike just become a soon to be, paperweight????

I found an 01' for a grand, gona try to save the money and get it.

It's only worth what some sucker is willing to pay for it...Personally, I wouldn't pay $6,500 for it but that's just me...

You can still find them brand new, in the dealer, for $6,000. Doubt he'll get $6,500 for a used one.

when they first made the announcement some dealers were selling the 1125's for $4999.00 .I got a price of 7700.00 for a ulysses and I thought that was still to much.

It's not worthless...it's just worth about half what he's asking. Per MidnitEvil - new ones are $6k.

Buell's value's have tanked with the operations closure. New bikes were wholesaled which killed resale. In time, Buells will hold some residual value for people who want to own one. The question is, how big is that market, and what is that value?

With the market the way it is and dealers cutting their prices on the new ones, he will have to adjust his selling price to match.
