Been riding since 1971 with my first Harley in 2007. Bought an Ultra Classic and finally have it just the way I want it. Just bought a "therapy" bike a couple of weeks ago, a 2010 Super glide Custom for those times when I need to get away. The bride rides a 2011 TriGlide and we're 61 and 60 years old. We have zero plans to get off them anytime soon. In fact, planning more time on them than ever now that we're retired.

did my hot rodding early -- I am over 60 and like my bagger for commuting and touring -- I know others in the same frame of mind and age.

I'm 59-1/2 so almost qualify. Just bought a new 2016 Road Glide Special after putting 61,000 miles on my 2011 Street Glide. I road in a Veterans Day parade two weeks ago and was inspired by a vet who was riding a 2014 Street Glide Special. He is 83 years old and rides like a guy in his 50's. He also is a down hill skier that assists disabled skiers in the Winter.

Update 68 now - Just got an 09 Electra Glide - I guess I qualify for a "geezer
glide" title. But the ride and the storage are great for now. I intend to keep
riding into my seventies!

68 here ... started with a '48 Indian at 16. Then went brits for a while. Then BMW - '64 R69S - coolest bike I've ever owned. Then '89 Heritage , '95 Electra Glide '95 (Had both H-D's for about 4 years) Now a '07 Street Glide (Had both the 95 & 07 for about a year) So I'm probably done - but IF I get another bike, I would like to go lighter like a Dyna. These old legs (with busted up knees and ankles) have a hard time pushing that heavy of a bike around the garage and such ... But even at my "advanced" age, I still like a little giddy-up in the saddle ... my Electra Glide had Mikuni carb, EV27 cam, Crane ignition and Screamin' Eagle heads. And I just put an Andrews 48H and Rush 2:1 exhaust in the 07.

I prefer the term, 'Seasoned Riders." lol
61, had to sell my main ride, 1953 Pan due to financial hardship, kept my meat and potatoes bike. (see sig pic)
I ride what I like, don't care about creature comforts- heaters, stereos, cell phone chargers, bidets, etc..
I work out with weights 5 days a week, 8 times per week, so I can stay strong riding.
Don't care about a house, picket fence, gardening, golfing, jogging, or other diversions to riding.
I ride like every day is my last-it's not a formula, it's just what I do.

First bike was a 50cc Tohatsu, in about '67. Trail 90 Honda followed, then a 1968 Yamaha DT-1, which I still have and still hate. Had a Yamaha XS1100 in the 80's. Pretty much nothing until a few years ago, when I bought a '90 Softail Springer sold it and bought a 2014 Road King. Really started to feel comfortable with it this year. Did alot of slow moving practice. Anybody can hang on at 60+ mph it's the slow stuff I worked on. Busted 100 mph this fall. Next birthday will be 64 if I make it.
