I've purchased two Harleys, I've ridden them both home around 50 miles. I was completely freaked out the first time, and only slightly so the second time. It is a unique bonding experience, and I think I'd do it again in an instant. (especially if it was because I was riding a 2010 Street Glide or Road Glide home)

I ride in 40 degree weather all the time, its cold but survivable, Have fun!

I think that the majority opinion of this thread is to wait on some decent weather and then jump on her and ride her home. Just be very aware that there may be some SAND out there left on the streets from the winter roadcrews and you really don't want to experience what may transpire when you meet the "Sandman". It's an eye opening revelation. As slick as oil if not worse. Or here's an option nobody has offered up yet, Have the dealer completely dissasemble and number the scoot and then mail it to you 1 piece at a time so you can then reassemble it, make any changes you want ,and become a top notch Wrench all at the same time.
