how do you get the plug out

Default how do you get the plug out
of the screw hole for the left side passenger foot peg hole on a soft tail xbones? i need to get it out to install a left side tool box.
see item "a" on page 2. its not a screw its a plastic plug.

It's just a plastic cap that's pushed in. Any flat blade wedged under the top shoud pry it out.

no lip on the front side. looks like i gotta attack it from the rear.

run a self tapping screw in half way, then pull it out with vice grips?

freekin' garage floor is cold!
damn gonads is shakin' hands with my adam's apple.
