Thumbs up trike rider article

Interesting article, I think it's great to still ride the wind should you need to for physical reasons or you just would feel more comfortable on a trike, I can remember for a long time most all trikes were V-W engine, still a lot are, I would love to own an old HD service car.

Trikes aren't just for the aged or handi-capped. I want to build a V8 trike out of my old chevy van! Maybe one day...

I actually have put some thoughts on a parts runner type trike, inline 4 motor or a V-twin if I could find a decent motor, I have all the equipment to do it with, and with my plasma cam machine I can cut a lot of sheetmetal and plate stuff I would need with it,,,, it's just time and money for parts, both of which are limited.

when I get too worn out or beat up to ride 2 wheels, I'll be on a trike!

That's cool, is that one of the add on/removable conversions from standard two wheel to three wheeler?

Any consideration of a sidecar rig prior to the trike? Just wondered... thanks

I feel Harley made a good business decision staying with the boomer market by developing something that will keep their knee's in the wind for another 10-15 years. This is where the discretionary cash has been for the last 20 years and this segment ot the population has been good for HD.

I still believe they will trike some of the smaller models and hit more into the female market. With the economy what it is and the profit loss Harley had in 09 I don't know why they don't also go back to a stripped down "Trike Service Car". When gas goes back up the municipalities and larger cities may be a good market for "Trikes". Meter Maids, Mail Delivery, heck we may even see the ol Ice Cream vender back on the street.
