I have mids and highway pegs on my sporty and rear sets on my Ninja. I like having the choice of foot placement with the pegs.

NSC I dont know how you do that. Don't you eat your knees? I have factory fowards on the red mistress since it is a 883C. I realize that is not as forward as the after market ones. But I know that it would be uncomfortable to have anything less. I maybe tall for a girl but I am only 5'9". So how in the world can you ride a sporty with mids???

I think i would want both...to give me a change of position on long trips...I like to stretch out my legs but i like the control of the mids.

I'm vertically challenged. Mids with highway pegs work great for me.
I like being able to raise up riding over gremlin spots.

I love to RIDE my bike. speed shifting, hitting the apex etc.. you can't do that w/your legs way out in front of you. I'm not knocking other's way of riding. like I said b4, I like to RIDE my bike.

I started riding dirt in 1967, and I've never and still don't claim to be a superior rider to "street only riders"....

You claim you're not knocking other people's way of riding, after you've already knocked them...stick with what works for your style of riding, and quit claiming that what others do doesn't work equally well for them...

After riding on dirt and haveing three crotch rockets before my harley I feel I just wouldnt be able to controll my bike as well with forward controlls. When I sit on a bike with forward controlls it seem comfortable to me but I think I would feel like I had a lack of overall controll of my body and the bike.
