Just about any 2 lane road in the bluegrass area around Lexington. Route 68 going away from Lexington toward Paris is very nice. 68 going away from lexington toward Harrodsburg is even nicer, once you get past Nichloasville. Some very nice riding around the Bowling Green/Mammoth Cave area. It just really depends on what part of the state you are going to. In the area I live in(East Kentucky mountainous), personally I don't think the scenery is as nice as the Bluegrass area, but there are tons of nice roads here.
I live in frankfort, its the capital of KY. Many roads lead here and out of here, email me and i will try to get together and ride with ya. Frankfort is very nice and i like to ride to the Red River Gorge from here taken back roads. My email is livinglifeguy73@gmail.com.

Eastern Ky would be my my best choice, Mountain country there is great ride'n...Pikeville,Prestonburg and all that area is nice....also not far from some good ride'n in VA,TN too.....Hatfield/Mcoy country there ! !
Awesome guys, I will most certainly get with you! My start point will actually be louisville. I will be driving my Ford dually and a stock trailer....hauling animals to show. My idea is take the bike in the bed of the truck with me, so I can get some great riding. Thats the plan right now..... I wanted to drive the bike from here but....gotta have the rig also.
My wife and I rode on Hwy 27 south, out of Lexington back in 2001. Great road and great scenery, tobacco farms, white fenced horse farms, small towns, all the way down to the Cumberland Plateau. That was one fantastic day of riding I'll never forget.
