She finally did it!
My girlfriend finally signed up for the MSF course. She always said that she wanted to ride. I've been gently reminding her to take the plunge. She starts the classApril 30th .She then can ride my sporty 'till the wheels fall off!

Good for her. I taught my wife (then girlfriend) because she kept signing up then finding excuses not to go. She makes a real good riding partner.
Several years of riding and we finally took the course. Even after 30 years of riding I enjoyed it.

Careful what you wish for - my wife took the course two years ago and took to riding like a duck to water. We just traded her Heritage for 2010 Street Glide. And she is becoming the best riding partner I have ever had.

I tried to teach a previous GF how to ride. She always wanted to argue about what I was teaching her. (what a suprise). So finally got her the class for Christmas. She loved it, and had a great time. She still fussed with the instructor, but hey, i was off the hook. lol

I'm not sure how this will shake out yet. Her best friend in Pa. rides but bitches about weather, her back, whether the sun is up, etc.....I hope it does not repeat. LOL I'll know the first week in May.

I knew my wife had the right mindset shortly after the class. We got her a Honda 600 Shadow when she passed the class and about two weeks later we rode to the dirt track races about an hour away. One heat race and the sky opened up! We left through a parking lot filled with the nice red Georgia mud onto a dirt road, then onto the blacktop. We rode home in a driving rain. When we got to the house, she had a big grin on her face and said, "That was fun!" I have not worried since.
