Help installing passenger floor boards

I just bought the new Classic Heritage '10, and I want to install the passenger floor boards. I have the kit for the bags but I have no idea where I am suppose to mount it? HD did not provide any clues, help.....

Should be pretty straight forward. Didn't you get any installation documentation??

Don't I wish. There were no instructions with the support bracket kit. The floor board is easy enough. Here is the problem: I have removed the old peg and now I have a rubber gasket attached to the Bag bracket that will not come off. Any ideas, other than burning, cutting or blowing the thing off...

Thanks, this really helped. Not sure if you had to deal with the '10 Heritage, but getting the rubber spacer off from the bag bracket was truly a chore....
