Now that I got my dual exhaust on I am looking at passenger floor boards. But looking in the HD catalog they want 180 for chrome passenger mounts. Then another 200 something for the floor boards themselves. Just don't want to drop 400 for passenger floor boards for the wife.
Is there a better way of doing it? Guessing I can use the half floor boards those look like they fit the stock pegs. But was really hoping to get her the full floor board.
You may want to make sure they will work with the Samson dual exhaust. I installed Kuryakyn passenger mounts and HD deluxe floor boards. I have V&H dual exhaust and they wouldn't fit. I had to modify the left side mount and exhaust bracket to make them work. Samson may be different. Hope it works for you,,, my better half really likes them.
U might want to keep a eye on ebay i bought a set for a touring model
like new for 70 bucks then i made a bracket to mount them they look great
if i dont point them out u woundnt know it
plus the softail boards and brackets are pricey for some reason?
good luck
Thx for the tips. For some reason the chrome bracket is double the price of the black bracket. The whole kit is the same but the bracket. Seems a bit over priced.
Would you be open to Kuryakyn parts? You could use the 4372 Mount(black) along with a 4455 or 7916 board and it would be a nice, solid yet adjustable mount/floorboard combo. for a little less money. My bike requires the 4374, but it works great.

Unfortunately Samson True Duals will not work with Softail floor boards. Sorry for the bad news.
thank you,
