Seems like the Dyna guys have a "big Sportster" complex. Just listen to them when someone brings it up. Somebody HAD to say it.

Might as well throw this out there since we're accusing folks of being queer.

I think any bike newer than an '83 is a *** bike. Y'all and your Twinkies. Good grief.

I own and like both for their unique charactersitics. My bikes are complete opposites. The Dyna will out handle a Softail and the Softail (FL anyways, never ridden an FX) is more comfy than the Dyna. If I want to ride agressively I ride the Wide Glide and if I just want to go out for a smooth cruise, I ride the Heritage. The Heritage doubles as my touring bike as well. Much more comfy for long trips.

Spoken like a true RUB douche bag. Why didn't you buy a Big Dog or an American Ironhorse instead of your CVO. It costs more, so it must be better.

Look at it this way: a Softail frame is in two sections that are, essentially, connected at the "hidden" suspension. By virtue of its design, it cannot be as torsionally stiff as a Dyna's frame (or any other Harley).
