I'll agree that everyone is more than willing to bash each other pretty quickly.
But I'm a little confused...you're a non-harley rider, but yet you have a Harley Avatar???? I hope youre at least on a Buell then.
I don't see why I shouldn't have a Harley avatar, this is a Harley forum after all. I'm not here to cause trouble, I enjoy reading the forum and making a comment now and then. I'm interested in Harley history and as an American company, I hope they succede. Unfortunately for me (and maybe for Harley) they just don't build the motorcycle I want. And that's okay, Harley has to cater to their base. I understand. So unless Harley changes (not likely) or I change (also not likely), I'll just ride something else.
If you are curious to know what I ride and what I may look like, this is me before my first ride this spring. Cheers.
I'll let it slide this time! I really couldnt care less about anybodys commitment to different brands. I'm the opposite, I ride a Harley but refuse to wear any of their clothes or slap stickers on my vehicles. But I'll also openly say that my favorite bike Ive ever owned wasnt a Harley either.

A real man would of let it slide.
Living in Northern Illinois (close to Milwaukee) I can say I do not run into Harley haters. On the other end of the spectrum even when my bike was bone stock people would come up at a gas station and say the is a beautiful Harley.
