And that's supposed to make us look the other way of his socialistic anti American political leanings?
I don't know for sure if he rides at all. But if he did ride an HD, and HD used it as an ad campaign, that would be an absolute guarantee that I'd never buy one.

Could HD ever really be dumb enough to use Obama in an ad? I mean - at that point you might as well just have Hillary as the passenger and toss Bill in the side car.

Italian enough.

that's pretty f*cking stupid.
i didn't buy my gillette razor because derek jeter advertises it, i don't stay away from vitamin water because david wright is their spokesperson, and i damn sure did not buy my harley based on an advertisement either.
if you're that shallow then sell your bike now and look good in your harley leathers on a bicycle.

I know you're going to say "Why are you on a Harley forum" after this post. I've made it perfectly clear that I belong to forums of alot of different make and models because we are all riders that love riding and bikes. I do not own an HD, I own a Suzuki. Nor do I own any HD leathers. I think they have nice looking bikes and some nice riding jackets. Very rarely do I wear anything that has logos on them. I will not pay a company to advertise for them. What I'd said is that if HD would use Obama in an ad campaign, that I would then never buy one. As far as atheletes or celebtards endorsing or advertising a product, they are not in a position destroy the foundations of what this country was built on. Obama is in that position. It is my belief that is his true agenda. And if I can choose not to do business with a company because of their political views, I have that right, and they have the right to those views as well. Levi Strauss, among others donated to the Brady campaign and the Million Mom March. I've not bought one Levi product since then. Is that shallow of me not to want to patronize a company because they helped fund an organization that wants to erase a Constitutional right that I cherish? I'm not into country music, but if I was, I would never buy a Carrie Underwood cd or concert ticket because she stumps for the Humane Society of the United States. An organization that wants to eliminate all hunting, and medical testing on animals. That type of medical testing that discovered insulin. Or the type of medical testing that gave my father, God rest his soul, eight more years of life after a heart transplant. Shallow, no it is not. It's called staying true to your convictions.
Being hated is the other side of the same coin as hating. In other words being hated makes you feel special. It justifies you. I really try to not give a ****. Sometimes its hard because I have a temper, but I really feel better when I dont care.

thank you john, my sentiments exactly.i am here because i love harleys, and enjoy talking about them,i no there limitations and there faults and i dont care,on this forum i do not expect to hear harleys bashed, promotions of other brands, threads or pics of other brands,go to another forum,i want to look at and talk harleys, thats why i joined a harley forum!! not rocket science.we shouldnt have to defend our bikes or be bashed on our forum!!
Yes, that's the way I feel. And to roewarrior, I don't care what you ride and wouldn't bash it unless your started talkin sht, but it seems odd to me that you want to be on a Harley Forum. I have absolutly no interest in knowing what sport bike riders or Jap cruzer riders talk about, but that's just me.
There have always been haters of bikes by bikers that own other makes. Jap vs Harley, etc. Hell, it's nothing today. In the 40s and 50s, Indian and Harley riders REALLY hated each other. If you were riding an Indian, a Harley rider was liable to walk up and punch you in the head (or vice-a-versa). You don't see guys duking it out anymore just because of the bike they ride...now they just talk smack on internet forums. A lot less painful.
