Default Neutral light issue

My wife has a 2008 FXDC. Last year she started having an issue with her neutral light where it will flicker or remain on while in gear. I have had it to the dealer 3 times. I picked it up yesterday and paid $474 and was told they replaced the wiring harness including the blinker wiring which they said had a problem even though the blinkers were working fine. I rode it home about 25 miles and it was fine. I decided to ride it to work today, and as soon as I headed out the driveway the problem was back!!!! Any ideas?
Thanks, Dale

Is there any oil mess on the transmission near the neutral switch? If so, it could be causing the slide-on electrical connectors to be intermittent. The next likely culprit would be the switch itself. GL!

2008 had a rash of bad sendors. I had to have the one on my SG replaced when the bike was about 6 Months old. Sounds to me they the wrenchers did not keep it simple first. I would be hot about it! A sendor is a fraction of the work they did in $ and is the best place to start.

I posted after you did. If the light gets stuck on again, pull the sendor plug and see of it remains on. If it does than the problem is deeper than the switch itself.

Also, mine was the exact same symptom and it was the switch. Mine has been fine ever since.
