Just completed the msf course here in Bloomington/Normal Il and it was great! Even for an experienced rider it is a great course to take. I picked up a few things here and there and it was a really fun thing to do!
i go through the ERC every couple years. Fun and its free with the military. I jumped on a sport bike and did the Sport Bike course that the MSF offers now. That was a good time too! Back was killing me by the end of the day. I have no idea how older guys ride them damn things....
Anyway its always a good thing to have a refresher...
I took it two weeks ago on a 250 Suzuki...1 evening class and two full days of instruction! Wore me out lol...hardest part for me was the figure 8s in the box. Once I practiced a bit it was a breeze.
Ditto on the figure eights. I screwed them up every practice run..going a bit outside of the box and even put my foot down once. But I pulled it off on the final grade run. Overall it was well worth the cold and rain I had to endure.
I've taken it twice also, military makes us take it every three years now, the class is great, I learned stuff both times and I'm sure I will learn more when I take it again. I agree the figure 8's in the box can be difficult.
