Default Help!!! (please) Stuck in Paso Robles
On a trip with wife. Bike fires right up this morning. Head to gas station to top off. Won't start. Already checked battery connections. Fuel injection charges. Faint click from left side cover when hitting ignition switch. Pulled fuse box but can tell if starter is blown. No turn over. Light, radio work. Suggestions?

Try pushing the relay in with the fuses in a little further. Or, remove it and put it back in. Also could be the battery with the clicking you describe. Gary Bang HD is nearby. Here is their number. (805) 461-1818

Dr V-Twin already removed and re-seated. Thank you for replying!! There is a wal$art here, think I can find a fuse?

Have had that happen before and it was the battery, I mean exactly that same scenario, fired up first thing, stopped for fuel and a light click. Battery was bad.

You should be able to find a fuse in Wal-Mart. Is one of your fuses toast? If so which one?

The bike started. Last thing I tried was wiggling the wires at the started but they felt rock solid. Don't know if it was the wires or the battery sitting. Gary Bang is closed today. thanks for responding! Came back to hotel before trying a restart. Having a cold coke and then we will see!

I was looking at the started relay fuse and no they didn't have one at walmart.

That sounds like battery is toast!
Had same thing happen to me.
Also guy at work.
If it's 4 or 5 yrs old, it needs replacement.
