Being as that info came to the indi's attention, then was transposed once again through your better half, I'm certain that their is some deviation in the dialect. I wouldn't scorn your indi just yet. The product rep or web site might be where he got his info/opinion. So He might actually have been trying to be as helpful as he knew how. We don't and probably will not know verbatim just what was said. You perceived this as it was told to you as third hand information. It's been said that the web site does recommend the use of nitrogen. but does not say that they will not work with regular air from a compressor.
jus say'n
ROFL.....as others here have said, they work well with regular compressed air. I love the things myself. I'll be swapping 3 tires of my own & 1 for a friend tomorrow. DynaBeads in all of them
Saved money buying the tires online, and no mount/balance charges either. Of course Ive got a nice stand and a MojoLever that makes life easy
Put them in per the instructions and enjoy the smoothest ride you have ever had.
Regards,
R
EDIT*
PS..... If your putting them in a tire/rim that still has/already has wheel weights on it, be sure to take them off.
I wondered about this nitrogen in the tires thing. If your tires are low on pressure do you have to go to a dealer or can you buy cans of this stuff to top off on the fly?
