I'm riding along a four lane road which will soon be a two laner as it heads of out town. There two cages in front of me, riding side by side, both going about 40 mph in a 45 zone. I wanted to get in front of them so the open road is mine when the road thined down to two lanes. Neither would speed up or move over to let me pass. WTF I'm thinking, come on people, look around you! As my window was closing to pass both safely, I flashed my passing lights on and off a few times to get the car in the left lane's attention. The driver gets the hint and both speeds up and moves to the right. I pass and the road is mine. HOG vs. a road hog. I think I scared them a bit because they moved so far to the right that their tires stirred up the gravel on the side of the road just as the road thined to two lanes.

thats normal for cager here in our town on the bypass... side by side for miles they'll go, and flashing lights usually doesn't interrupt there cell phone call/talking..

I hate that... They do that around here all the time also.
Your lucky they moved over. Around here the guy you flashed the lights at would have mede sure to stay right next to the car next to him just to be a tool. (at least it seems that way to me, most times)
I think that's the law around here. To ride side by side, 15 mph UNDER the speed limit, for miles, and miles, and miles that is! ............. Makes me KARAZY.

I should feel lucky, I only had to put up with it for less than a mile.

I have had the pleasure of driving a lot of this great country and the "buddy" driving is everywhere. I swear with 100's of miles out here with and only 2 in sight, they will pair up.
